BCCD - Bootable Cluster CD
The BCCD was created to facilitate instruction of parallel computing aspects and paradigms. Part of the difficulty instructors face is lack of dedicated resources to explore distributed computing aspects lack of time to preconfigure and test the supporting environment.
CLIC
Clic is sponsorised by the RNTL, others partners are ID-IMAG, BULL and Mandrakesoft. This project's aim is to produce a HPC Linux Distribution for 32 & 64 bits processors.
Clusterix
Clusterix is a modular, live-cd Linux distro based off of Morphix, Knoppix, and Debian GNU/Linux.
ClusterKnoppix
ClusterKnoppix is a modified Knoppix distro using the OpenMosix kernel.
Clustermatic
Clustermatic is a collection of new technologies being developed specifically for our new cluster architecture. Each technology can be used separately, and thus does not preclude integration with other clustering efforts or even other types of computing environments.
Mandriva Linux Clustering HPC solution
Mandriva Linux Clustering is a Mandriva clustering solution based on research product CLIC. It's been designed to offer research laboratories an affordable, fast-to-deploy, easy-to-use, heavy-calculation systems based on Clustering.
MSC.Linux (now in maintainence mode only)
OSCAR Clustering Software
OSCAR version 2.1 is a snapshot of the best known methods for building, programming, and using clusters. It consists of a fully integrated and easy to install software bundle designed for high performance cluster computing. Everything needed to install, build, maintain, and use a modest sized Linux cluster is included in the suite, making it unnecessary to download or even install any individual software packages on your cluster.
PlumpOS
PlumpOS is the successor to clump/os. It is a mini Linux distro aimed at being an easy way to add nodes to an openMosix cluster without much work (or thought).
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS
Red Hat enterprise Linux AS is Red Hat's variation on their Linux distro aimed at enterprise and high performance computing needs. It includes, among other things, Red Hat Cluster Manager for high availability systems, and Red Hat Network Enterprise Service for management of multiple systems.
ROCKS Clustering Software
ROCKS delivers the computational power of clusters to a wide range of users. The NPACI ROCKS package makes stable and manageable parallel computing platforms available to a wide range of scientists greatly improving the parallel tools that need continual development.
Scientific Linux
The base SL distribution is basically Enterprise Linux, recompiled from source. Our main goal for the base distribution is to have everything compatible with Enterprise, with only a few minor additions or changes. An example of of items that were added are Pine, and OpenAFS. The various labs are able to add their own modifications to their own site areas. By the magic of scripts, and the anaconda installer, each site is be able to create their own distributions with minimal effort. Or, if a users wishes, they can simply install the base SL release.
Scyld Beowulf Cluster Operating System
Scyld is the "second generation" of the Beowulf Clustering software. It provides a single system image cluster using specially developed tools and libraries.
