I would like to start a discussion and solicit input on projects that the Gelato community feels need to be addressed to mature the platform and help accelerate its adoption. Here are a few questions to consider:

* Are people comfortable with the current development environment for the Linux Itanium platform? If not, what development tools are missing that hinder people from migrating to the platform? * Are there tools that need to be modified and/or integrated with other tools to facilitate your work? * Do currently available Linux kernels support your favorite tools? * Are there "must have" applications that need to be ported to IA-64 that are used in the course of your work?
