Yahoo Finance: MARLBORO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 2004-- Egenera Inc., a leader in utility computing, today announced that it recently began developing a two-way Egenera® Processing Blade(TM) configuration based on the Intel® Itanium® 2 processor.
"We believe the Itanium 2 processor brings the performance, standards and volume economics of the Intel Architecture to the most data-intensive, business-critical segments of enterprise computing," said Susan Davis, vice president of product marketing and management at Egenera.
