LJWorld.com: An investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor has found Lawrence-based Microtech Computers did not properly pay some of its employees for overtime work.
The federal probe, which began in May, focused on whether employees were properly classified as salary rather than hourly workers at Microtech and the company's Lawrence-based subsidiary Atipa Technologies. The two companies manufacture desktop and high-speed computers at their west Lawrence facility, 4921 Legends Drive.
