Sistina Software Partners with Singapore Computer Systems Companies to provide Data Storage Solutions to Enterprise and Technical Computing Clients.

Sistina Software, a developer of software that simplifies complex data storage and dramatically reduces storage costs, today announced a reseller partnership with Singapore Computer Systems (SCS), a premier information and communications technology service provider in the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership will enable SCS' Linux Competency Centre (LCC) to provide its customers with scalable and economical data management and storage systems in Linux environments using Sistina's Global File System (GFS). Under the terms of the partnership, the LCC will incorporate Sistina's GFS as an integral offering in their data storage solutions for clients in the enterprise and high performance technical computing markets. The SCS-LCC is a one-stop shop for Linux hardware, software, services and solutions. The centre also provides Red Hat Linux training and the internationally recognized Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification. The LCC is recognized for its pioneering work in the area of High Performance Technical Computing (HPTC) clusters, and was involved in building one of Asia Pacific's largest HPTC cluster for a Singapore research institute last year.
