Performix is a software suite which helps the system administrator to manage cluster performances. It allows to monitor the whole cluster, sampling up to 50 node system parameters (cpu, swap, load average, memory, disk, network, sensors, processes, etc.). A Web GUI allows to get synthetic and compact real time status of the cluster and to analyze off line data stored in its powerful integrated repository. Performix optimizes computational or systems requirement peaks by means of queuing, scheduling and load balancing functionalities; billing and accounting processes are allowed as well through tracing user jobs running on the cluster. Performix is suitable to be used also in a distributed grid computing environments.
