HPCwire: Microsoft said it won't be ready to release its high-end "compute cluster" version of Windows until probably 2006. The software giant cited the need for additional management and deployment upgrades. A beta version of Windows Server 2003, Compute Cluster Edition, is now slated for the second half of 2005, rather than March/April.
