ClusterMonkey.net: In a previous column I looked at the various ways to code for PVFS1 and PVFS2. However, I never really discussed how to architect a PVFS system for your application. A correct PVFS design can improve the I/O performance of your application, ease administrative burden, improve flexibility, and improve the fault-tolerance. In this column I'll examine how to enhance and tune performance.
