A Grid-related company in Austin, Texas is looking for a Product Manager/Product Marketing person, maybe wear two hats at once, and they need to know the Grid Computing area real well. They will pay for relocation.

Requirements:

. 5-10+ years industry experience in product management with enterprise middleware

. 3-5+ years experience with an HPC software vendor or a systems management vendor

. Deep understanding of the entire HPC environment, including ISV vendor and application landscape, distributed computing hardware components, and infrastructure vendor (HP, IBM, Sun, Dell, Microsoft) strategies

. Keen insight into the buying process and buying behaviors

. Ability to align a systems management solution with a specific business outcome and ROI

. Consultative approach with sensitivity to need for transactional results

. Experience marketing / selling with early stage companies

. Defined and delivered "best of breed" enterprise software products

. A technical background in software development is highly desirable

. A technical undergraduate degree required, and an MBA preferred
