The 8th LCI International Conference on Clustered Computing will be held May 14-17, 2007, in South Lake Tahoe, California.

The conference is a four-day event that includes a conference, pre-conference tutorials, vendor presentations, and ample networking opportunities. The technical program focuses on experiences with applications, tools, user environments, and administration of large-scale clusters across a vast array of sectors.

Tapping into the beauty of the conference locale, organizers are planning a special mini-symposium showcasing ultra-scale environmental modeling featuring experts discussing the state-of-the-art in using clustered computers for high fidelity modeling of environmentally sensitive areas like the Tahoe Basin and the Sierra Mountains. They also hope to have a special session on secondary and higher education use of, and support for, cluster computing.
